Clay Drayton was a staff songwriter at Motown Records, where he wrote, arranged, produced and played on songs for The Supremes, the Jackson 5, Janet Jackson and Bette Midler, amongst others. He’s earned multiple gold & platinum records and is president of his own music publishing companies.

Clay continues to write and produce for vocalists, who include singer Jesse Campbell from The Voice. Clay is currently teaching a professional songwriting class in Los Angeles, CA. He speaks for music schools and music networking groups, has been featured in music magazines, and conducts Professional Songwriting seminars nationwide.
